# Govee Ring: control the ring of a Govee H60A4 separately from the main panel in Home Assistant (local, no cloud)

A Home Assistant integration that exposes the ring light of a Govee H60A4 as a separate entity, built by reverse-engineering the Govee app with REA and running fully locally over the LAN API.

## Description

The author added a Ring light entity alongside the Main light for a Govee H60A4 in Home Assistant, each with its own slider, fully local over the LAN API. The integration was built after reverse-engineering the Govee app using REA (github.com/morluto/rea). Only tested on the H60A4.
