About this case

The author connects REA, the open-source MCP reverse-engineering server, to his JARVIS AI assistant built with Claude Code. Using voice commands, the assistant reverse engineers the igloo.inc 3D scroll website in a clean browser, saves and reads out the teardown report, reverse engineers the Apple Notes app on his own Mac, and then builds and tests an original notes app from that teardown. The video explains what REA provides (structure, evidence, pseudocode, not original source), stresses that builds are original and never copies, and states that REA is meant for learning, interoperability and software the user is allowed to analyze, with no touching of licensing or copy protection.

I connected REA (Reverse Engineer Anything), the viral GitHub repo with 230,000+ stars, to JARVIS, my AI assistant built with Claude Code. Now he can reverse engineer any website or any app on my Mac by voice, read me the teardown, and build my own version.

In this video I give my real-life JARVIS x-ray vision. REA is the No.1 trending repo on GitHub: an open-source MCP server with 170 reverse-engineering tools that lets coding agents like Claude Code, Codex and Cursor look inside software they have no source code for. Everyone is running it in a terminal. I gave it a voice instead.

You'll see Jarvis: • Reverse engineer igloo.inc, the famous 3D scroll website, in a clean browser and save the teardown report into his second brain • Read the full teardown out loud, section by section, so I never open the report myself • Reverse engineer the Apple Notes app on my Mac with one sentence • Take that teardown and build my own notes app from scratch, then test it before handing it over • Open the finished app as its own window, by voice

I also explain what reverse engineering actually is, what REA gives you (structure, evidence and pseudocode, not the original source code), why the builds are original versions and never copies, and why this matters for anyone building with AI right now.

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN • What REA (Reverse Engineer Anything) is and how the MCP server works with Claude Code • How to reverse engineer any website or app with AI, by voice • How a teardown becomes a blueprint your AI assistant can build from • How to build your own JARVIS AI assistant with Claude Code (free prompt pack above)

REA is for learning, interoperability and software you're allowed to analyze. Jarvis never copies code, assets or branding, and never touches licensing or copy protection. Read the license of anything you point it at.

I'm Zubair. I build AI tools, agents and assistants with Claude Code and show you how to turn them into real products. New builds every week.

What should Jarvis reverse engineer next? Tell me in the comments and I'll run the top request in the next video.
