Perplexity 將開源逆向工程工具 REA（Reverse Engineer Anything）接入 Computer，使用者只需說明想復刻的軟體，AI 便能在沒有原始原始碼的情況下分析其運作方式，並嘗試重寫功能相近的版本。展示的 5 個複刻作品包含 Figma、LibreOffice Calc、Photopea、Harvey 與 Audacity，皆提供線上體驗版本。REA 由開發者 morluto 開源，可搭配 Ghidra、Hopper 分析程式內部函式與呼叫關係，也能檢查網頁、JavaScript 與 Electron 應用；作者強調無法保證還原原始原始碼。10 月 31 日前使用 /reverse-engineer 任務可獲每人最多 10,000 Credits 免費額度。

Perplexity 宣布將開源逆向工程工具 REA（Reverse Engineer Anything）接入 Computer。使用者只需告訴 AI 想復刻哪款軟體，它就能在沒有原始原始碼的情況下，分析軟體的運作方式，再嘗試重新編寫一個功能相似的版本。

Perplexity 一口氣展示了 5 款複刻作品，全部提供可線上體驗的網頁版本：

1. Figma：支援圖層、自動佈局、多人即時協作，以及帳號登入和跨裝置同步。
2. LibreOffice Calc：支援編輯儲存格、編寫公式，修改資料後圖表自動更新。
3. Photopea：類似網頁版 Photoshop，支援圖層、遮色片、調色和文字編輯。
4. Harvey：面向法律工作的 AI 工具，可以搜尋合約、比較不同版本，並根據指定規則標記條款，附上原文引用。
5. Audacity：支援音訊剪輯、混音、音量調整、淡入淡出，以及匯出 WAV 檔案。

REA 由開發者 morluto 開源，能夠配合 Ghidra、Hopper 等工具，分析程式內部的函式、呼叫關係和執行行為，也能檢查網頁及 JavaScript、Electron 應用。不過，這並不意味著 AI 已經能完整複製商業軟體。REA 作者明確表示，工具無法保證還原原始原始碼。

Perplexity 為這項功能提供限時免費額度。10 月 31 日前，使用 `/reverse-engineer` 的任務可享受每人最多 10,000 Credits 的免費額度。

Ask Computer to reverse-engineer an app and it inspects how the app works without its source code, then builds a working version.

Tasks that use /reverse-engineer are free through October 31, up to 10,000 credits per user.
